Australia is a country (and continent) popular with Singaporeans and Malaysians, be it to go on holiday, study or live in. A prime example would be the city, Melbourne. Melbourne has been voted by the Economist Intelligence Unit as the most livable city for the 7th year in a row, and it houses prestigious Universities like the University of Melbourne and RMIT. It’s no surprise that Melbourne is a popular destination. Me, I was drawn by the allure of cafes, and the sheer desire for a holiday! After my first hellish semester in my second year of Polytechnic wrapped up, I hopped on a Singapore Airlines flight to the land down under for my first ever trip to Melbourne!

The Michelin Guide should roll away from Singapore.

Singapore’s own Michelin Star Fiasco of 2016

If you are even slightly interested in the Food Scene here in Singapore, you would have known that Singapore is about to have its own Michelin Guide, expected to arrive in the second half of this year… There have been mixed feelings by the skeptical foodies among us, and some food bloggers have also done up a list for restaurants that they think is worthy of a Michelin Star. But today, I am not going to do that, maybe on another occasion… What I want to discuss about in this article is whether a Michelin Star guide will do more harm than good for Singapore…

Starbucks Coffee Seminar Review

Many people across Singapore drink coffee on a daily basis, that’s a fact… But, a vast majority of them make their coffee at home, rather than buying a cup at a coffeehouse like Starbucks or just a simple coffee shop. But, so few for them truly know how to brew ground coffee, it is truly an art to get all the aspects right (I am not referring to those people just emptying a packet of powdered coffee into a cup, that’s not brewing).

Singapore Motorshow 2015

Motoring journalists and enthusiasts descended has been upon Suntec City over the last few days. Why, you ask? The Singapore Motorshow 2015 is being held at Suntec City between 15 to 18 Jan, the first of its kind for many years. Many Car brands with the expection of a few high profile brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Maserati showcased their upcoming models with a few concept and prototype cars.
