The 9 Best Places in Singapore for a Great Burger

I believe the title says it all… Also, by saying burgers, I don’t mean the cheap, ‘questionable’ burgers at Macdonalds and Burger King. The burgers here are made from quality ground beef cooked to order…

One more thing, I shall organise the Burger Restaurants by their pricings for you guys to make a informed choice on what is your kind of ‘greasy, meaty poison’!

Burgers Under $20

1)Fat Boy’s Burger Bar (Read the full review here!)

Been around since 2008 and expanded with several branches in Singapore and Asia… Every Burger-aficionado should know about this place.

The truly hungry at Fat Boy’s order their signature 2-Patty Burger, the Fat Basterd ($19.80) with Bacon, Egg, Cheese and BBQ sauce. The Wimpier ones ought to go for their single patty choice, the Wimpy ($15.00). Their Milkshakes are worth a try too, along with their large selection of Beers.

2)&Made Burger Bar L’Entrecôte Express

(Photo from andmade.sg)

Formerly located in Pacific Plaza, &made is a great place to grab a delicious burger in Ocean Way at Sentosa at a rather reasonable price…

(Photo from urbanjourney.com)

The burger to grab here is of course, is the &made Cheese Burger ($17.00) with Mozzarella and all the usual fixings. However, if you are in the mood for Steak, the Entrecote Steak ($32.90 or $39.90 for a larger portion) won’t disappoint!

3)Bergs

(Photo from icook-sheeat-wetravel.weebly.com)

The cheapest burger Restaurant in this list, but still a serious contender in the Burger War in Singapore… Bergs pride themselves in using high-quality beef and ingredients for their burgers.

(Photo from heartlikebullets.wordpress.com)

The one to get is… Obviously… The Berg with Cheese ($14.50/$11.00) which is their regular burger with all the fixings and an aioli, with a choice of Brie, Edam or Swiss cheese.

4)De Burg

(Photo from danandesther.tumblr.com)

Formerly located at Alexandra Food Centre, and after playing the ‘disappearing act’ game for about a year, De Burg has finally reopened at the CT Hub… Burger Lovers Rejoice!!!

(Photo from ieatishootipost)

De Burg has definitely expanded their menu since their short stint at Alexandra, by adding in Lamb, Chicken and Pork Burgers. But, their Cheeseburger ($16.80 for 150grams) with Australian Beef is still the one I would get! Also, for a premium of about $11, you can get a 200g Wagyu Burger instead… But, in my opinion, you would be better off with the burgers in the next category…

The Burger to get at EWF is The Great Burger ($16.00) with Red Cheddar Roux, Cherry Tomatoes and Crispy Bacon with a side of Roasted Garlic Fires. But,in order to do EWF justice, you can’t neglect their Truffle Fries ($10.00)… And of course, their desserts which they place such a high priority on…

6)Omakase Burger (Read the full review here!)

image

A burger that needs no introduction here in Singapore, Omakase Burger has been hailed the best Burger in Singapore, but I don’t necessarily agree, the burgers here are good only…

image

Get their Ultimate Cheeseburger ($18.50) with all the fixings. Tender Patty, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Mushrooms and Onions. Also, their sides of Truffle Fries and Onion Rings are pretty good, along with the Root Beer Float ($5.80). Also, if possible, tell them not to put ice in it…

7)Roadhouse Restaurant (Read the full review here!)

Located within the lush greenery and amazing restaurants in Dempsey Hill, Roadhouse is a small, little restaurant part of the Prive Group serving Delicious Burgers!

Down here, they are known for having the Terminator Challenge where you have to finish a massive 6 Patty Burger in a short period of time. In case you are not in the mood for a heart attack between 2 buns, there is the Bacon Marinated ($26.00) and the Fabulous Foie Gras ($33.00) Burgers that are worth a try, they also offer Truffle Fries for an additional $2. The Milkshakes are good too, thick and not too sweet.

Located at the highly Prestigious Marina Bay Sands, DB bistro was opened by 2 Michelin-Star Celebrity Chef Daniel Boulud, cooking up delicious western food, mostly around Meat and Seafood.

(Photo from dbbistro.com)

The Burger to order here… Is for course The Original DB Burger ($42.00) with a piece of Foie Gras in the middle of the Burger! Highly raved, and many people do consider The Original DB Burger to be one of the best Burgers ever!

As always, my food guide here is highly Subjective and Opinionated (But I have a feeling those people disagreeing with me are either huge fans of Macdonalds and Burger King, or are just Vegans and Vegetarians…), but I have done my best compiling together the Best places in Singapore to get a Fabulous, Juicy Burger!

Also, the Guide will always be work in progress, so if you have any other suggestions for a good burger, leave me a comment below! If I do find that your recommended Burger is worth a spot on this list… It would definitely go on the list!
